• Johanna's middle name could be Marie.
• Luise Karl's handwritten ancestry says Johann Gille's middle name is Gottlieb, not Gottlob. Gille and Gülle are often interchanged.

• The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints calls him Robert Karl and Robert Carl. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints says he was born 1825. Luise Karl's handwritten ahnentafel says he was married in Pottlitz. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints also says they married one year earlier, 26 Apr 1854, at Koeniglich Preussiche 1st Westfabonnche Husaren Reg 8, Bonn, Rheinland, presumably while he was serving in the military. There are discrepancies between Luise Karl's ahnentafel and her own handwritten ancestry regarding Friedrich's death date. In one she says 22 Oct 1882. In the other she says 16 Nov 1880.
• The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints says Anna was born 1829. Luise Karl's ahnentafel says she was born 2 Jul 1828.
• Originally we had Eva's last name as Teusch. Luise Karl's ahnentafel says her last name was Tauß.
• The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints also just calls daughter Arnoldine Amanda. Her last name is always given as Carl, not Karl. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints also says she was baptised at Königlich Preussiche 1st Westfabonnche Husaren Reg 8, Bonn, Rheinland, Preussen.
• Auguste Elvire's last name is given as Carl.
