• Robert Underhill lists Thomas' parents as John Kendrick (1735-1802) and Amy Fox (1740 Surry Co., VA-?), m. 1760, but the dates don't add up since Thomas was supposedly born around 1736. According to Robert Underhill, Amy's parents are considered Col. Richard Fox of King William Co., VA and Hannah Williamson. John's parents are considered William Kendrick (1704 King William Co., VA-?) and Sarah Jones of Suffolk Co., VA, m. 1726. Robert Underhill lists a brother for Thomas named John (1764-1825) who married Martha Dinkins (1766-?) in 1785.
• Dolly's proper name may have been Mary.
• A source gives daughter Sarah's birth place as Wales, but if her father was born in Virginia, she probably was too.
